Ellie Thumann joined the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit family in 2023, posing for her rookie feature in Puerto Rico. Though it was her first experience with the brand, it was by no means her first brush with the modeling industry. She got her start as a young girl, doing print work and runway shows alongside her mother. Since then, she’s built her own personal brand and has worked with companies such as Marc Jacobs, Levi’s, Kate Spade, Reebok and Coach. Known for her YouTube channel, the Phoenix native regularly vlogs about beauty, lifestyle and fashion, and documents her travels—whether for work or for play. A mental health advocate, Thumann regularly partners with brands and nonprofits that support emotional well-being initiatives.
